We are excited to announce that Cody will be teaching master classes at Dance Unlimited
Classes are open to Everyone in the Dance Community
May 11th classes are as followed 8-11 years old 10am, 12-14 years old 11:30am
And 15+ years old 2:00pm all classes are 1.5 hours.
Classes are $20 for all DU Dancers; $35 for non DU dancers
CODY GREEN
Most recently performed alongside Catherine Zeta Jones at the 2013 "Oscars". Cody danced with with Taylor Swift at the "American Music Awards". He can be seen on the hit show "True Blood" and This Season of "How I Met Your Mother". He performed for Mia Michaels on "Dancing With The Stars" for the "Rock of Ages" movie. He originated the role of "Riff" in the Broadway revival of West Side Story, and can be heard on the show's Grammy Award-winning cast recording. Originally from B.C., Canada, and an alumnus of The Juilliard School in New York City, Cody was the winner of Bravo TV's reality show series Step It Up & Dance. Cody recently received unanimous rave reviews, starring as "Sid" in the National Tour of Twyla Tharp's Come Fly Away. Lewis Segal of the Los Angeles Times touted: "Cody Green as Sid, passionately dancing out his demons and making every move unforgettable. By the highest Tharpian standards -- Baryshnikov in “Sinatra Suite,” Tom Rawe in “Nine Sinatra Songs” -- this is a great performance". On Television, Green has performed on Good Morning America as "Riff" (ABC), Shall We Dance as himself (NBC), Fashion Rocks with Rihanna (CBS), The Tony Awards (CBS), and also episodes of this season's True Blood (HBO). Other stage credits include: New Grease Broadway, Eddie in Movin' Out (London West End & Broadway), Sinatra Dance With Me (Wynn Las Vegas); and the First National Tour of Mamma Mia!. On Film, Cody played Nick Hoffman in Center Stage 2, nd danced in Julie Taymor's Across the Universe, and David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Cody Green currently resides in Los Angeles.

Summer Intensives
*Mandatory for all those that would like to audition for our competitive teams*
Summer Dance Intensive Training Program
Summer Dance Intensives are a vital tool for dancers to continue refining their technique and performance year-round. Intensives not only help dancers retain their dance knowledge but also with overall improvement. Our two-week program provides dancers with the tools to broaden their understanding within a variety of dance styles: ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acro tumbling and turn and jumps. Taught by our award-winning teachers Jennifer DeYoung, Jenna Barnett, Erin Brass and several guest artists to be announced soon. Our intensive program benefits any dancer looking to spend their summer continuing to improve their dancing abilities.
Intensive classes will be held June 17-20th from 10-2pm and June 24-27th 10-2pm for ages 6 and above:
• Mini Program (ages 3-5 or 6) – Tuesday/Thursday on the above weeks – 10am to 12pm – $130 for both weeks
• Intensives Program – Monday – Thursday 10am to 2pm – $275 for both weeks
We will offer multiple dancer discount

Mikey Trasoras
Mikey will be teaching classes at DU on Wednesday June 19 and Thursday June 20th. Classes are available to ALL DANCERS in the community!! Classes will be as follows: Minis (5-7), Juniors (8-11) Teens (12-14) Seniors (15+). Class times will be assigned soon but will fall between 10am-2pm. Classes will be $30, you can register for multiple classes. Classes will fill quickly and will be based on availability. Fees must be paid to hold a spot. All fees are non-refundable.
Choreographer and dancer Mikey Trasoras is the director of the hugely popular iHollywood Dance Intensive held each summer in Los Angeles, as well as hip hop instructor for the iHollywood Dance tour across the country. Mikey serves as Regional Director for Next LeveL Dance Competion which premiers nationwide in 2013. He is also faculty at the prestigious Orange County School of the Arts, his alma mater. Some of Mikey’s choreography credits include the sizzle reel for Hawaiian Style, Sarah Jaffe’s music video “Glorified High”, Ivivva Athletica YouTube video promotions, Radio Disney's Next Big Thing season 5 kickoff in Hollywood, and for Texas’ premiere collegiate dance team The Apache Belles. Mikey’s students have appeared on So You Think You Can Dance, Abby Lee’s Ultimate Dance Competition, X-Factor, The Grammy’s, Glee, and Dancing with the Stars just to name a few.
Like his freestyle dancing, Mikey’s choreography is intricate and stylistically innovative. His keen musical ear and captivating artistic expression of lyrics elevate Mikey as a hip hop artist. Mikey is passionate about teaching and enjoys touring the country. He teaches all levels and expects his students to learn something new each session and you’ll find that his youthful playfulness makes his classes lighthearted and fun.

Summer Dance Camps
“Pink Princess” Summer Dance Camp
Tutus, Tiaras, Wands and a little bit of dance magic! Little princesses will enjoy a magical day of dancing with a visit to the Kingdom or possibly Alice ’s Tea Party. All children, ages 3-6, will enjoy a magical experience learning ballet, tap, jazz and acro. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday June 18-20th and July 9-11th from 9-11:30am. We provide each student with a daily snack and princessy craft. On Thursday parents are invited to the studio to watch their princesses perform the enchanting routine they learned.Cost $65/camp or $120 for both weeks
“American Girl Doll” Dance Camp
American Girl dolls are loved by children globally worldwide, so grab your .doll and get ready to dance. Children 6 years and older are invited to spend time dancing a few hours with Kit, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Josephina or any of their American Girl friends. Classes will be held June 25-27th 9-Noon and July 16-18th 9-Noon. Children and their dolls will spend 3 hours a day learning a variety of dances. On Friday parents are invited for a brief showcase to see what they have learned. Camp includes a complimentary daily snack and craft for each dancer. Cost $75/week, $140 for both weeks

ACRO CAMP:
Acro camp is a time for your child to work on their acro skills and individual goals
time will be spent on strength as well as tricks.

MELISSA SANDVIG
Melissa will be at Dance Unlimited September 21, 2013 for master classes

Originally from Orange County, Melissa began touring with the Los Angeles Classic Ballet while still in high school. After graduation she joined the Milwaukee Ballet and had a soloist role for 6 years. Melissa’s credits includes roles on Glee, DWTS, AGT, Mobbed, Hart of Dixie, The Young and the Restless and LXD. She has preformed motion captured work for Shrek, Puss in Boots and Madagascar 3. Melissa can be seen on Youtube Channel DS2DIO and webshows EHOW and HealthyPower TV. Melissa preformed with Helios Dance Theatre, Sacremento Ballet, Los Angeles Contemporary Ballet, Luminaria Ballet, Motion Tribe, Body Traffic, Strange and Elegant Dancers, String Theory and LA Opera. Currently Melissa is helping to create a new show for Cirque du Soleil and is a certified pilates instructor.
