Annual Christmas Show

Our annual Christmas Shows are coming up.  Each Dance Unlimited class except stretch/strength and drop-in classes will have a pieces in the Christmas Show, some classes will combine with others.

  • Information about the performances will be emailed out as soon as we have the dates and times. Typically these fall the 2nd and 3rd weekend of December.
  • There is a $15 fee for the first participating family member and $5 for each family member after that. This fee is used to buy groceries for families in need that are delivered the week before Christmas. We also adopt families and will have a giving tree that we ask our families that can help, help to provide a Christmas for these families in need.
  • Christmas Show Costumes may be ordered from the front desk, we have a selection of sizes at the desk to try on. We have used these costumes for the last 10 years. If your child has outgrown their top/leotard or you have a decorated sweatshirt you would like to sell it please bring it to the studio labeled with your name, size of the top, and what you would like for it (last year most sold for $15). 
  • Combo classes will wear a red leotard, white holiday decorated sweatshirt,white holiday decorated socks and a holiday hair bow, tan tights and the shoes they use for class. Red leotards are $18 + tax, tights are $13+tax.
  • All other classes will wear the laser dot tops with black booty shorts, holiday hair bow, tan tights and shoes they wear for class. Laser tops are $32-$35, Booty shorts are $15.00, tights are $12-$13 (these are the same tights used in recital) and their shoes worn in class.
  • Boys wear black dress slacks, white button down dress shirt, holiday tie, and shoes for class which you provide.

 


Our Annual Giving Tree!
Each year for the past 25 years our Dance Unlimited family has adopted several families in the community to provide a Christmas for. We ask each family member for a wish list that we put onto our giving tree and invite those that can and would like to, to purchase and wrap the gift for these family members. Your $15 Christmas Show fee is used in addition to Dance Unlimited's generous giving to give Christmas dinner as well as household staples to these families.

A few days before Christmas we invite our Dance Unlimited families to caravan from house to house giving to those in need. It is a great way for the children to understand that not everyone is as fortunate as they are and it warms the heart to give to others.

Last night was one of the best experience i ever had. I knew that giving these gift made people happy but the way that I felt last night after giving the gifts was an overwhelming amount of emotion. The family had so much love and thankfulness and seeing them so happy made me start to cry because I realized how grateful I am. I am able to dance  everyday and receive nice things for Christmas. Giving these gift makes you realize even more how lucky you are to have the life you do.- Claire Bowyer

This was my second time around bringing Christmas to families in need. Have to say I was really moved by the experience. The difference that the help will make through the holiday is crystal clear. Watching the excitement and enthusiasm of the kids participating was encouraging. They are getting off on the right foot. Witnessing the tears of joy and appreciation through hugs, handshakes and well wishes is a genuine and cherished experience that I encourage everyone to realize. Thanks for the memory. -Brian Quinn

I love the joy and hope that we can bring to those that need it the most. To think that I worry about the little things and they weren't going to hava a Christmas. A particular family had two children with cystic fibrosis, it made me realize, that having your health is more important than presents. Thank you Zorene for giving us the opportunity to have this experience and the opportunity to do good for others. - Sophia Boland
